Allen T. Farber, of Martinsburg, PA, passed away peacefully at home on September 30, 2026, at the age of 63. He was a quiet man who appreciated solitude and the simple comforts of home—and after growing up with that many older sisters, who could blame him? He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was employed at Ventura Construction Services, Inc. He leaves behind his sisters, Carol Burkhart of Hollidaysburg, Janet Aurandt and Elizabeth Jukes, both of Altoona; sister-in-law Doloris Farber of Mahaffey; brothers-in-law Edward Fuller of Pueblo West, Colorado, and Joseph Buzzard of Hollidaysburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Alma (Houck) Farber of Martinsburg; sisters Faith Nichols, Amy Buzzard, and Patience Fuller; brother Archie “Bud” Farber; and brothers-in-law James Aurandt and Robert Burkhart.
