Angela Delores (Kelley) Yingling, 88, of Altoona, died Monday at her residence after a brief illness. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late George Eugene and Katherine M. (Debarber) Kelley.

She married Herbert Eugene Yingling on May 16, 1987. He preceded her in death.

Angie retired as Human Resource Coordinator from Valley View Nursing Home, Altoona, in June 1995.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Altoona.

Angie was a 1950 graduate of Altoona High School. She enjoyed spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren, the beach and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by eight children: Helen C. (Nella) Strayer of New Germany, Pa.; George A. Snyder III; Cheryl A. (Bruce) Clark, Patty L. (Denny) Georgiana, Marie A. Porter, Matthew L. (Pattie) Snyder, Jamie L. (John) Scarangella, all of Altoona, and Aric R. (Jess) Snyder of Alexandria, Pa. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by five siblings: Marie K. (Kelley) Louder, Patricia A. Kelley, Lawrence W. Kelley, George E. Kelley and Richard Earl Kelley; and two sons-in-law, Gary Sumpter and James Porter.

Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at Jones Funeral Home, Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held during the visitation.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021, at Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona, with Monsignor Stanley B. Carson, celebrant. Committal Rites will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
