Mrs. Anna Marie Jacobs, 87 of Garvey Manor, 1037 S. Logan Blvd. Hollidaysburg formerly of Graystone Court, Altoona died Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Manor after an extended illness.

Mrs. Jacobs was born in Altoona, Pa on July 20, 1930, daughter of the late Ralph E. and Anna E. (Erumenaker) Reed She married Christ S. Jacobs who preceded her in death.

She retired in 1995 as a custodian at Altoona Area School District with 25 years of service.

She was a member of Cathedral of the Blessed Sarcrament Altoona and a member of Cathedral Christian Mothers.

Anna Marie was a 1948 graduate of Altoona High School. She was a member of Altoona Area School District Education Union. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's activities, reading, her dog Abby and her stories.

Ann is survived by three children Christine A. (Tony) Alianiello; Cindy M. (John) Anthony; and Ralph A. (Michele) Jacobs all of Altoona. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Joseph (Jessica Irwin) Michael and Anthony Alianiello, Brooke (Leonard) Sapp, Charlotte Jacobs and Anthony Alianiello and two nieces Lisa (LaRon) Morgan and Mary Longacre. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Bankston and a special friend Pete Krumenaker.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 with Monsignor Robert C. Mazur officiating.

Committal rites will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.

Friends will be received Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Jones Funeral Home where a vigil for the deceased will be held during the visitation.
