Anna M. Miller, 84, a resident of Midtown Oaks Health & Rehab Center, Altoona, formerly of Roaring Spring and Altoona, passed away December 22, 2023 at Midtown Oaks. Born May 15, 1939, Roaring Spring, daughter of the late John E. and Helen C. (McCloskey) Butler. Preceded in death by her sister, Mary Elizabeth Settles. Survived by her 7 children, Beverly Snowberger, Judy Oldham, Jackie Miller, Johnny Miller, Thomas Miller, James Miller and Ross Miller; siblings, Chester Butler and Linda Piper; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anna was of the Brethren faith. Throughout her life, she worked for the Vincent Horowitz Shoe Factory, Longery Co. and Puritan Sportswear. Anna enjoyed walking, playing bingo and watching soap operas. At her request, there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held, Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 10 a.m., Jones Funeral Home, Pastor Thomas Kurtz, officiant. Private inurnment Fairview Cemetery, Altoona.
