Mrs. Barbara J. "Joanne" Barrett, 83, of Hollidaysburg, formery of Juniata, Altoona. died Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Garvey Manor Nursing Home after an extended illness.

Mrs. Barrett was born in Altoona, Pa on March 31, 1932, daughter of the late Phillp L. and Mildred (Tomlinson) Lockard. She married Harry S. Barrett Sr. February 26, 1951 in Elkton, MD.

She was a member of Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament Altoona, Pa.

She was a 1950 graduate of Altoona Catholic High School. Bardara enjoyed crafts, sewing, collecting Lighthouses and making dolls.

She was a 1950 graduate she is survived by 3 children H. Sam (Doris) Barrett Jr., Gary L. (Deborah) Barrett, both of Altoona, Pa and Barbara A. Smith, of Harrisburg, Pa. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two bothers, Philip Lockard and Steven Lockard.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 AM Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona, with Msgr. Robert C. Mazur officiating.

Committal Rites will be held at Grandview Cemetery Altoona, Pa.

Friends will be received Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 5 - 7 PM at Jones Funeral Home where a Vigil for the Deceased will be held during the visitation.
