Barry J. Bollinger, 74, Altoona, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025 at his residence after an extended illness. Born May 14, 1951, Altoona, son of the late James and Pauline (Zimmerman) Bollinger. Survived by his loving wife, Melissa (Chilcote) Bollinger; son, Ryan Bollinger; brother, Kim Bollinger and wife, Deborah; nieces, Christina and Lisa Reedy; and his beloved fur babies, Bella and Mia. Barry received his associates degree from Penn State University in mechanical engineering. He worked as an industrial sales engineer at Electric Motor and Supply. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and was the former owner and operator of Dancenergy Ballroom Dancing School because of his love of ballroom dancing. At Barry’s request, there will be no viewing or services. A very special thank you to Gentiva Hospice and caregivers for the care they provided so that Barry could remain in his own home.
