Carmen Z. Kirk, 85, of Duncansville, died Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at UPMC Altoona hospital. She was born in Altoona on May 22, 1941, daughter of the late Paul A. and Mary E. (Pearce) Zetler. Carmen was a 1959 Graduate of Bellwood High School; she received her bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and her master’s degree from the St. Mary’s College of California. Carmen owned and operated her own IT consulting company and published novels and short stories. Surviving are her two sisters: Jane Smith (Al), Anne Lioy, and her brother P. Alan Zetler (Beth) with whom she resided with for the last 4 years. Also surviving are nieces and nephew: Melissa, Jennifer, Maria, Jenna, and Paul. Carmen was preceded in death by her sister Rebecca Cumming. Friends and family will be received from 11a.m until 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the Rose Hill Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 118 Rosehill Cemetery Dr., Altoona, PA 16602.
