Danielle Amina Hurd, 16 of Altoona died Sunday January 29, 2017 at UPMC Altoona after an extended illness.

She was born in Newark, NJ on March 21, 2000, a daughter of Brett K. Hurd and Robin D. (Ross) Moore.

Surviving are her parents; step-father Corey L. Moore of Altoona; eight siblings; Yva Marie Battles, Danae Hurd, Nikkita Clark Montague, Malikah Clark, Brett K. Hurd, Emmanuel D. Perrin, Jasmine Perrin, and Desiree Perrin; grandparents, Richard and Doris Baskerville, of Dothan, AL; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was a student at Altoona Area High School.

Danielle enjoyed music, video games, and watching The Walking Dead.

Friends will be received from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday February 7, 2017 at Jones Funeral Home, 1222 13 ^th Avenue where a memorial service will be held at 8:00 p.m.
