Mr. Dennis Lynn Peters, 68, of Altoona, Pa, died at 9:50 PM, Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Altoona Center for Nursing Care after an extended illness.

Mr. Peters was born in Altoona, Pa. on October 5, 1947, son of the late David Leroy and the late Vesta Jane (Wall) Peters.

He retired in 2014 as a cleaner at Altoona Area Public Library with 4 years of service. He previously worked for Experience Work for 5 years.

He was of the Protestant Faith.

Dennis was a 1966 graduate of Wheaton High School, Wheaton, MD. He enjoyed models.

Dennis is survived by his father of St. Louis, MO and a sister Karen Green of Fitchburg, MA.

Services are private at the convenience of family.

Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery Altoona, Pa.

At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing.
