Dennis A. Shunk, age 78, of Bellwood, died Thursday evening at his residence.  He was born in Altoona, a son of the late Walter and Pearl (Gensamer) Shunk.  He married Judy A. McFalls.  Surviving are his wife at home; daughters:  Lori Barr and Robin Wynings; sons:  Dennis Jr., Rick and Brian Shunk; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and sisters:  Barbara Brinkman and Rita Alberta; and his buddy, Jackson his dog.  Denny was A U.S. Army Veteran who enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and flea markets.  Denny attended Bellwood Area Schools.  He retired as a Ground Keeper Supervisor from Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.  Friends received from 10:00 - Noon, Monday October 12 with a private funeral service following at the funeral parlor.  Internment Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
