Donald H. Claycomb, age 80, of Altoona, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday morning at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  He was born in Imler,a son of Arthur and Al era (Wolford) Claycomb.  Surviving are three daughters:  Pam L. Mitchell(Kirk), Ruth Ann Eger (Norm) and Jackie Adams (Sue Payne); three sons:  Ryan D. Claycomb (Angela), Bruce E. Thomas (Joetta) and John M. Javier (Shirley); several grandchildren; three sisters:  Phyllis Putt, Betty Eicher and Wanda Burke; two brothers:  Arthur “Tom” and Barry Claycomb, his companion, Shirley Boore, and lifelong friend, Barbara Kraft.  He was preceded in death by two sons:  Donnie Jr. and VIncent Adams Jr. And six siblings.  Don was a self employed TV repairman who lost worked at Zimmerman Electronics.  He enjoyed spending time with family and his dog, Bugs.  Don had a passion for performing country music.  Friends will be received from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m Saturday, July 18 at the funeral parlor.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Mending Hearts Animal Rescue, P.O.Box 97, Hollidaysburg, PA. 16648.
