Douglas K. Reed,65, of Altoona, died peacefully on Monday August 10, 2026, at his home following a battle with diabetes. He was born on July 14, 1961, in Lewistown, PA, son of Herbert and the late Saralee (Yeater) Reed. Surviving are his father, his former wife and friend Lisa Reed and their two children Devon and Delaney Reed. Also surviving is his son Michael Reed from a previous relationship. Doug was a 1979 graduate of Rolling Hills High School and studied at Saddleback College both located in California. He made a career in the computer industry and was currently employed at Net Health as a Technical Support Engineer II. He also worked at Home Nursing Agency, Mutual Benefit Group, and Petro Choice. Doug was a member of the Bavarian Aide Society and enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, riding motorcycles, playing guitar, watching Penn State and Steelers football, and spending time with his family, friends, dogs, and cat.
