Mr. Eric J. Straw, 32, of Altoona, Pa, died at Approx 5:30 PM, Saturday, September 3, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Straw was born in Altoona, Pa on December 5, 1983, son of Robert G, and Susan Irene (Gildea) Straw who are surviving.

He was a warehouse / delivery man at W.R. Straw Distributors Altoona with 14 years of service.

He was a member of Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church Altoona, Pa.

Eric was a 2001 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School. He was an avid Steelers fan, enjoyed watching boxing, fishing and animals.

A Funeral Service Outside of Mass will be celebrated at Jones Funeral Home, Altoona, Pa at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 8, 2016 with Fr. David R. Rizzo officiating.

Committal Rites will be held at Calvary Cemetery Altoona, Pa.

Friends will be received Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 4 -8 PM at Jones Funeral Home where a Vigil For the Deceased will be celebrated during the visitation.
