Eva Arseniu of 1410 - 20th Ave Altoona, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at UPMC - Altoona after a brief illness.

Miss Arseniu was born in Altoona, Pa. on December 2, 1925, daughter of the late William P. Genevieve (Zosimas) Arseniu.

She retired as a supervisor at Butterick, Altoona, Pa. with 42 years of service.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Altoona, Pa.

Eva was a 1943 greduate of Altoona High School She was a Past President of the Board of Trustees of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and a past Treasurer of the Philoptochos Society.

She is survived by a daughter Karen Pappas of Duncansville, Pa; 2 bothers, Rev. Fr. George W. Arseniu, of Raleigh, NC; and Christ W. Arseniu, of Altoona, Pa. Eva is also survived by 2 grandsons Donald R. Hirt ll of Delta, Pa. and Matthew M. Hirt of Peachbottom, Pa. and a great granddaughter Lexi Hirt and a nephew Jason Arswniu of Harleysville, Pa.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Churech, Altoona, Pa. at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 14, 2015 with Fr. John Hutnyan Officiating.

Interment at Rose Hill Cemetery Altoona, Pa.
