Gerald Edward Seidel, Sr., 82 of Altoona died November 1, 2017 at UPMC Altoona.

He was born March 20, 1935 in Altoona, a son of the late Joseph and Helen (Wagner) Seidel.

Surviving are his twins Brian M. Seidel and Jennifer S. Seidel, ten other children, Sharon Trevena, Michele Daniels, Joyce VanJura, Eugene Seidel, Rosemary Dawson, Patricia Kurosky,Gerald Seidel Jr, Debra VanGorder, Anthony Seidel numerous grandchildren, and a sister Miriam Stitt.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen and ten siblings.

Friends will be received from Saturday November 11, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home, 1222-13 ^th Avenue, Altoona. A memorial mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona with Monsignor Robert Mazur officiating. Committal will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
