Geraldine Fay Federinko, 93, of Altoona, formerly of Indiana, PA, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at the Graystone Manor Bellmeade. She was born on March 20, 1933, in Cherry Tree, PA, daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Hines) Fleming. She was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Federinko, and by three sons, Gerald E., George M., and John C. Federinko. Geraldine was also preceded in death by ten siblings, Zene, Lisle, Chester, Roy, Cora, Trilby “Dot”, Ines, Ester, and Stella. Surviving are her four sons, Richard A., Patrick J. (Lynda), Christopher S. (Lynn), and Ryan J. (Sharon) Federinko, 10 grandchildren, John, Brittany, Conner, Tyler, Miranda, Lauren, and Michael Federinko, and Michelina Eckert, Joseph Bolognese, and Emma Rossio, eight great grandchildren, Dylan, Colin, Camden, Aubrey, Ivy, Evelyn, Lilyana, and Olivia. Also surviving are her two siblings, Ray and Martha, and many nieces and nephews. Geraldine retired from Hills Department Store located in Indiana, PA. She enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends and spending time with her grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from Noon until the 1 p.m. memorial service at the Rose Hill Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 118 Rosehill Cemetery Dr., Altoona, PA 16602.
