Haider Mohammedali Rajpar, 86, Altoona, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at UPMC Altoona. Born July 21, 1939, Ndanda, Tanzania, son of the late Mohammedali and Rubab (Somji) Rajpar. Survived by his wife, Shamim (Roberta J. “Bobbie” Harter) Rajpar; daughters, Rashida and husband, Chris Larkin; and Yasmin and husband, Tyler Franklin; grandchildren, Meena Larkin, Sophia Larkin, Isaiah Franklin, Silas Franklin and Micah Franklin; and his many siblings. Haider was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Robert and Eleanore Harter. Haider retired in 2020 from Tri-Star Motors, Blairsville working in auto sales. He enjoyed watching fútbol and traveling internationally. Haider was also very involved with his family’s Mitsubishi Motors dealership in Tanzania. At Haider’s request, there will be no viewing.
