Mrs. Hilda L. Conrad, 93, of Altoona, Pa died Tuesday, January 29 ^th , 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Conrad was born in Altoona, Pa on January 9, 1926, daughter of the late Cyril Patrick and Mary R. (Seymore) Kibler. She married James W. Conrad June 19, 1954 at St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Altoona. He preceded her in death December 15, 2009.

She retired in 1988 as a Registered Nurse at Golden Living Center – Hillview Altoona for 18 years of service.

She was a member of Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament Altoona, Pa.

Hilda was a 1944 graduate of Altoona High School and a 1949 graduate of Bryn-Mawr Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of Catholic Nurses Association. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and friends as well as reading and pinochle.

She is survived by 6 Daughter Mary Conrad, of Dover, DE; Alicia Conred- Ifkovits (husband Joseph), of Laury’s Station,Pa; Eileen Klinefelter (husband Thomas), of  Greenbackville, VA; Jessica Vanderhost, Forked River, NJ; Beth (Karl) Kessier of Altoona , Pa;  and Amy Dale (Daniel), of Chesapeake, VA; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren 2 bothers and a sister Gerald Kibler, of Altoona; Patricia Beiswenger, both of Corning, NY  Richard Kibler, of Corning, NY. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law Ronald Vanderhorst and 2 bothers William and Garrett Kibler.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona, Pa with Msgr. Robert C. Mazur officiating.

Committal Rites will be held at St. Monica Cemetery, Chest Springs, Pa.

Friends will be received from 4-7 PM Friday, February 2, 2019 at Jones Funeral Home where a Vigil For the Deceased will he held during the visitation.
