Jason J. Coughenour, 36, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Newry died Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Altoona, Pa on June 29, 1985, son of Carl J. Coughenour and Michelle D. Resig.

Jason worked as a Roofer at Burns-Scalo Roofing Co. Pittsburgh, Pa for the past 15 years.

He had attended St. Rose Of Lime Church Altoona, Pa.

Jason was a 2003 graduate of Altoona Area High School. He was a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles in Pittsburgh and enjoyed camping, fishing, ATV hunting going to concerts and was an avid Steeler Fan.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by 2 bothers Jeremie Coughenour, of Altoona, Pa; and Matthew Foster, of Laurel, MD. Jason is also survived nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service Outside of Mass will be celebrated at Jones Funeral Home, Altoona, Pa at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 9, 2021.

Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery Duncansville, Pa.

Friends will be received Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 6-8 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Altoona.
