Jeffrey L. Bowers, age 71 of Altoona, died Monday evening 05/23/2022 at UPMC Altoona.  He was born in Altoona, a son of JohnG. Bowers and Theresa R. (Smeltzer) Bowers Gallaghe.  Surviving are his mother, a son, Richard Jake Bowers; a sister, Judith R. Knox;several nieces and nephews.  Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Jack G. Bowers and a sister, Sally Wilinski.  Jeff retired from Conrail after many years of service.  At the request of the deceased there will be no public viewing or funeral service.
