Joan “Joanne” Burket, 94, of Hollidaysburg, died Wednesday at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Oscar and Essie M. (Darr) Burket.

Jona enjoyed bingo, shopping and talking to friends and relatives.

Miss Burket is survived by five nieces and nephews: William R. Kaylor, Gail Flegal, David W. Shenefelt, Jill Wildman and Mark Hudson. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Velda Kaylor and Mildred Hudson.

At the family’s request, there will be no visitation or services.

Committal Rites will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
