John Polignone age 80 of Altoona, died Wednesday afternoon at UPMC Aloona.  He was born in Altoona, a son of Michael and Grace (Cenerari) Polignone Sr.  He was married to the late Linda L. Finnegan.  Surviving are a son, David J. Polignone, a daughter, Lisa M. Polignone; two sisters:  Rose M. Savine and Janet Botteicher, and a brother, Michael Polignone Jr.  John retired as a plumber from Pipe Fitters Union Local #354.  At the request of the late deceased funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Internment in Calvary Cemetery.
