John A. Sipes, age 69, of Altoona/Bellwood, died Tuesday morning at his residence.  He was born in Altoona, a son of Marshall and Freda A. (Price) Sipes.  He married Deborah A. Chesney.  Surviving are his wife, his mother, a daughter, Mandi L. Billett, a son, Greg A. Lee, sisters:  Dorothy Stephens and Mary Parsons, a brother, Jerry Sipes, and five grandchildren.  John was preceded in death by his father.  John was previously employed by Beasley Builders as a mechanic who enjoyed carpentry, fishing and visiting Delaware.  At the request of the deceased there will be no public viewing or funeral service.
