John R. Stewart, age 80 of Altoona, died Sunday !2/31/2023 at Cedarwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Tyrone.  He was born in Altoona 03/05/1943, a son of Victor D. and Della M. (Zimmerman) Stewart.  Jack was married to the late Janet  M. (Coccia} Stewart who died 11/21/2013.  Surviving are daughters:  Sue A. Stewart, Jacquelin Stewart and Mary Lechner; sons:  James and John Stewart; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Jack was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sons:  John Richard and Jeffrey Alan Stewart.  Jack had previously worked as a maintenance supervisor for Prices Poultry.  at the request of the deceased there will be no public viewing or funeral service.  interment in Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville.
