Mrs. Lizetta M. Hale, 84, of Altoona died Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Valley View Nursing Home following a stroke at her home.

Mrs. Hale was born in Salem, WV on April 12, 1930, a daughter of the late Bert and Etta (Ford) Pratt. She married Ross E. "Jack" Hale on March 12, 1969 in Cumberland, MD. He died July 23, 2006.

Lizetta enjoyed her grandchildren.

She worked as a molder at A&P Bakery for 20 years.

She is survived by two children, Gregory R. (Beth) Hale, of Altoona and Melissa L. (Robert) Vogel of Altoona; five grandchildren; a sister-in-law Betty Pratt of Waynesboro; three nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by three siblings Bernadine, Marjorie and Denver Pratt.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Jones Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert J. Smith officiating.

Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
