Mrs. Loretta Mae Stegman, age 81, of Altoona, Pa, died at 5:30 AM, Thursday, January 7th 2016 at her residence, after an extended illness.

Mrs. Stegman was born in Altoona, Pa on June 11, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Margaret G. (Semelsberger) Kruise.

She was a homemaker.

She was a past member of S.S. Gregory & Barnabas Catholic Church Pa.

Loretta was a graduate of Altoona High School. She enjoyed her grandchildren and playing bingo.

She was the widow of Henry Ernry Stegman Jr. whom she married March 2, 1954 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He died August 5, 1998.

She is survived by Daughter Patricia Iorfida, of St. Marys Pa; Daughter Mary Friedline, of Altoona, Pa; Daughter Rosemary Kevin Booth, of Yorba Linda, CA; Daughter Christina Thomas Castellucci, of Altoona, Pa; Daughter Barbara Miller, of Johntown, Pa; Daughter Teresa Charles Shillinger, of Upland, CA; Bother Donald E. Kruise, of Altoona, Pa. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Loretta was preceded in death by a son David W. Stegman, a grandson Gabriel L. Friedline a son - in - law Joseph E. Iorfida and 9 siblings.

Committal Rites will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery Johntown, Pa.Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 12:00 Noon with Father Robert L. Ruston officiating.

At the family's request there will be no visitation.
