Malynda Lea Swope Allshouse, 56, Altoona, passed away peacefully at home with loved ones on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Surviving are her husband, Jonathan W. Allshouse; children: Garrett M. Spencer, Graham A. Spencer, Cyle J. Reed, Carilyn M. Allshouse and Donavan L. Allshouse; grandchildren: Sydnee Rayne, Lincoln Bradford, Sebastian Eli, Michael Lee, Shane Anthony, Liam Paul and Wyatt Lee; her mother, Cathy J. Benson; her father, Michael L. Swope, and his wife, Sharon; her mother-in-law, Barbara E. Allshouse; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Malynda was a 1988 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School and was a stay-at-home mom. She belonged to the Blair County Antique Auto Club and enjoyed fishing, hunting, car shows and video gaming. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, at Bald Eagle Grange Hall.
