Mrs. Mary Frances “Fran” Moses, 89, of Altoona, Pa, died a Monday, August 28, 2020 at Hillview Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Altoona, Pa., after an extended illness.

Mrs. Moses was born in Altoona, on March 30, 1931, daughter of the late Morgan A. and Pearl (McSorley) Smithmyer. She married Robert J. Moses December 31, 1955 at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. He preceded her in death March 10, 1996.

She retired in 2003 as a housekeeper at Our Lady of Lourdes Rectory, Altoona with 26 years of service.

She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church Altoona, Pa.

Fran is survived by 2 daughters and a son Karen P. (Randal) lsenberg, Judith (Henrick) Johnson and John M. (Naona) Moses, all of Altoona, Pa. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Altoona, Pa at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 with Fr. Dennis Kurdziel celebrant.

Committal Rites will follow Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church. Interment will be at New St. Mary’s Cemetery Hollidaysburg.

At Fran’s request, there will be no public visitation.
