Maxine C.  Bauer, age 88, of Altoona, died Friday morning 06/17/2022 at her residence.  She was born in Altoona 08/27/1933, a daughter of the late Howard R. and Florence J. (Boyles) Diehl.  She was married to the late John C. Bauer, who died 04/02/2014.  Surviving are daughters:  Linda S. (William) Clark, Karla Bauer and Kim Persing, and several grandchildren.  Maxine was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Friends received from 6-8:00 p.m.Monday 06/20/2022 at Vincent J. Good Funeral Parlor, 328 5th Avenue, Altoona. Internment in Blair Memorial Park.
