Mrs. Peggy Harber, 86, of Altoona, Pa. died at 6;30 PM, Monday, June 22, 2015 UPMC Altoona, unexpectedly.

Mrs. Harber was born in Altoona, Pa. on February 13, 1929, daughter of the late Fred P. and IIa J. (Creighton) Harber. She married Regis Edward Harber February 13, 1948 St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, Altoona. He died July 20, 2011.

She had worked as a secretary at WRTA Radio, WFBG - TV and Veedre - Root.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Altoona, Pa.

Peggy was a 1947 graduate of Altoona High School. She was a past member of Woodview Garden Club and enjoyed her children, grandchildren and gardening.

She is survived by 2 daughters Linda M. Klock and Kimberly S. (Chris) Mc Nelis, both of Altoona. Peggy is also survived by 4 grandchildren Brady J. Adams, Devon McNelis, Alison McNelis and Miranda Klock 2 great grandchildren Maddie Adams and Dawson Adams. She was preceded in death by a sister Phyllis Barr.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10;00 AM Friday, June 26, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Altoona with Msgr. Michael Becker officiating.

Committal Rites will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona, Pa.

Friends will be received Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 4 - 7 PM at Jones Funeral Home where a Vigil For the Deceased will be held during the visitation.
