Robert P. Lunger, 71, of Altoona, passed away Wednesday March 11, 2026, at UPMC Altoona hospital. He was born on June 24, 1954, in Altoona, son of the late Paul R. and Leona M. (Notaro) Lunger. Surviving are his wife Pamela, his son Michael, and daughter Jessie (Ken) McAleer. Also surviving are his three brothers, David, Doug, and Glenn, several nieces and nephews, and his best friends Ed and Dennis. Robert was a 1973 graduate of Altoona Area High School. He retired but still worked part time at Boyer Candy and enjoyed model trains. All services will be held at the convenience of his family.
