Robert Paul Miller, 89, of Newburg, Altoona, Pa died Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Golden Living Center - Hillview, Altoona, after an extended illness.

Mr. Miller was born in Johntown, Pa on November 8, 1925, son of the late Edger and Elizabeth (Coubaugh) Miller. He was preceded in death by his wife Esther.

He retired as a steel worker from at US Steel Corporation, Johntown, Pa.

He was of the Protestant Faith.

Paul attended Johntown High School.

He served in the U.S. Navy as a Pharmcist's Mate 3/c in WWll. He received the ALMAV 76-48, Pacific Theater Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon and Victory Medal.

He is survived by 2 sister Sare Smith of Pembroke Pines, FL; and Nancy Shaffer of Prescott Valley, AR.

At Paul's request there will be no visitation or services.
