Ronald B. James, 80, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday February 24, 2026, at Garvey Manor Nursing Home. He was born on April 8, 1945, in Altoona, son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Franell) James. Surviving is his wife Linda who he married on July 20, 1968, two daughters; Amy Skunda (Don) and Becky Manna (Ted), a son Eric James, grandchildren; Sarah and Zach Manna, a brother; Kenneth (Tonya), two sisters; Barbara James and Marjorie Closson (John), several nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by a daughter in law, Carly James. He was a 1965 graduate of Altoona Area High School and worked as an Electrician with IBEW Local #5 where he was a member for over 50 years. Ron was a faithful blood donor and enjoyed Sudoku puzzles and Western Movies. All services will be privately held at the convenience of his family.
