Rose C. Stevens, 90 of Altoona, Pa died Friday, December 20, 2019 at Amber Terrace, Altoona after an extended illness.

Mrs. Stevens was born in Altoona, Pa on February 14, 1926, daughter of the late George C. and Bessie (Bookas) Boliski. She married George W. Stevens August 27, 1950 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Altoona. He preceded her in death September 12, 1973.

She retired in 1992 as a Medical Assistant with 44 years of service, having worded for Drs. DiGiacobbe, D”Cruz and Moussa.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Altoona, Pa.

Rose was a 1947 graduate of Altoona High School.

She is survived by 3 children Christine L. McLaughlin, of Cummins, GA; Joanie M. Morgan, of Carisle, Pa; and George W. (Rhonda) Stevens, III of Las Vegas.  She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Jessica Wittman, Garrett Seibel, Stephanie Adams and Rachael Stevens. 3 great grandchildren Jordyn Cooper Suhina, Grayson Wittman and Emma Wittman. She was preceded in death by four sisters and one bother: Marie Goulionis, Mary Jane Tombros, Luella Dale, Helen Apostolopoulos and a bother Christ Boliski.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 27, 2019 at Holy Greek Orthodox Church, Altoona, Pa with Fr. Joseph Cervo officiating.

Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery Altoona, Pa.

Friends will be received from 9:30 – 11:00 AM Friday, December 27, 2019 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 1433 – 13th Ave Altoona, Pa 16601.
