Sylvia A. Albert, age 73, of Tyrone, died Saturday afternoon at UPMC Altoona.  She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Louis Clyde and Ann K. (Brooks) Garman.  Sylvia was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading her bible and other books.  Surviving are a daughter, Lori Albert
Rodland (John Mountz); sons:  James W.  and William S.(Joyce) Albert; grandchildren, David and Skyler Rodland and Wesley Albert; great grandchildren:  Bryson, Jayci, Raelynn and Khaleesi, and a brother, David Miller.  Sylvia was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Albert, sisters:  Dorothy Utts, Betty Garman, Mary Louise Miller, Eva Dodson and Karen Salsgiver.  At the request of the deceased there will be no public viewing or funeral service.
