Ted Mastos 88 of Altoonadied Tuesday afternoon, June 14, 2016 at UPMC - Altoona after an extended illness.

Mr. Mastos was born in Altoona, Pa. on August 14, 1927, son of the late Pete and Vada (Leoras) Mastos.

He retired as a creeler at Bomont Mills with 27 years of service.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church Altoona, Pa.

Ted was a graduate of Altoona High School. He enjoyed sports, reading, live theatre and Broadway Shows.

He served in the U.S. Army in WW II. He was stationed Japan as a medic.

He is survived by 2 brothers Nick P. Mastos, of Sarasota, FL; and Robert P. (Ruth) Mastos of Altoona, Pa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a bother George Mastos.

There will be no public viewing. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

A Trisagion Service was presided over by Father John Hutnyan at 6:00 PM Saturday evening.
