Terrance D. Cassidy, 76, of Altoona, died Tuesday, July 28, 2026. He was born on May 2, 1950, in Altoona, son of the late George and Mary (Hoffman) Cassidy. Surviving is his brother, Eugene Cassidy and his sister, Kathleen Glass and husband Anthony. Terrance was a graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School, served in the U.S. Air Force from 1969 until 1973, having served in Vietnam and attained the rank of Sergeant. He retired as the Purchasing Manager at the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center. Terrance was a member of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Bellwood Sportsmen’s Club, and was a Boy Scout leader. He enjoyed the outdoors. Family and friends will be received at the Rose Hill Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 118 Rosehill Cemetery Dr., Altoona, PA 16602 on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service with Rev.
