Mr. Thomas A. Mallin, 80 of Altoona, Pa died Friday, April 16, 2021 at UPMC – Altoona.

He was born in Revloc, Pa on August 24, 1940, son of the late Alfred A. and Pearl(Nagle) Mallin and married Dorothy A. Mayemick July 8, 1967 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Altoona.

He retired in 1995 as a Coal Miner at Beth Energy Ebensburg, Pa with 20 years of service.

He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church Altoona, Pa.

Tom was a graduate of Central Cambria High School. He was a member of Swiss Rifle Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Colver Sportsman  Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing and target shooting.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Tom is survived by his wife and a son Jason K. Mallin, of Revloc, Pa. and Companion Mellissa A. Holby, of Strongstown, Pa.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Altoona, Pa with Fr. Ronald V. Osinski celebrant.

Committal Rites will be held at Calvary Cemetery Altoona, Pa.

Friends will be received from Wednesday 4 – 8 Pm at Jones Funeral Home 7:30 PM Funeral Home Fr. Ronald Os.
