Mr. William J. “Bill” Boslet, 69, of Altoona, Pa died Monday, September 16, 2019 at UPMC-Altoona, after an extended illness.

Mr. Boslet was born in Altoona, Pa on April 16, 1950 son of the late Charles C. and Mary E. (Gauntner) Boslet.

He retired as a Cartified Nurse’s Aide at Moran’s Nursing Home with 5 years of service.

He was a member of Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament Altoona, Pa.

Bill graduated from Bishop McCort High School in Johnstown and St. Mary’s College, St Mary, KY. He was an avid reader.

He is survived by 2 bothers Edward C. (wife Patti) Boslet Altoona, Pa and Thomas A. Boslet of Vestal, NY. Bill was preceded in death by his sister Mary Elaine Strunk.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 20, 2019 at Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona, Pa with Fr. Dennis Kurdziel celebrant.

Interment is private at convenience of the family at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona, Pa.

At the request of Bill there will be no viewing.
