ABOUT US
Who We Are
Our story began in the early 1900s, when Bob's grandfather established Jones Funeral Home and Vincent Good founded Good’s Funeral Parlor. Together, they created a legacy now known as Rose Hill Funeral & Cremation Care. For over 100 years, we have been committed to serving the families in this community with compassion and dignity.
Our founders began our commitment to providing meaningful and personalized service. Because of their excellent service and trustworthy position in the community, Jones Funeral Home was honored to perform notable funerals for five Catholic Bishops of the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese. To ensure families would continue to receive excellent care, Bob Jones and Vince Good entrusted their legacy to Garrett Anderson. With over 45 years of combined experience, our team, now led by Garrett Anderson and Carl Brendel, remains dedicated to providing unmatched care to every family.
Continuing this legacy, we have recently opened a welcoming, accessible, and modern space designed around the needs of today’s families. This expansion not only honors our heritage of excellence but also reflects our ongoing commitment to integrity and the well-being of those we serve.
You are welcome to call us at any time of the day, any day of the week, for immediate assistance. Or, visit our funeral home in person at your convenience. We also provide a wealth of information here on our website so you can learn more from the privacy of your own home.
